Autumn and Julian get a second chance at happiness. Autumn knows when she takes on her latest client that she will be coming face-to-face with the man that broke her heart. But she has grown over the past 10 years and believes she is up for the challenge. Julian has built an empire but he left behind the only family he knew and the girl that captured his heart. I have to admit, when I first met him, I didn’t like him much. He uses his cocky arrogance and wants to bulldoze Autumn when he was the one that walked away. But as this story unfolds, well, we learn that you never do forget your first love and for Julian, he believed he would always get her back. The challenge is that he crushed Autumn’s heart so will she give him another chance? Of course, he doesn’t really give her a choice as he works his way back into her life. I ended up loving Julian and all his bullish ways but Autumn isn’t a pushover and definitely makes him work for it. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

This is a new author for me and I was completely pulled in to Cam and Reese’s amazing friends to lover’s romance. Cam and Reese truly meet through fate and chance. Both lost their parents young and ended up being adopted by women who are best friend’s which brought together often allowing them to build a wonderful friendship even though they lived in different towns. Now as adults, they both live in LA as Cam pursues his dream to be a screenwriter and Reese works on figuring out what her true passion is. For the summer, they end up in Cam’s hometown and the feelings they have both suppressed refuses to be ignored however they are both afraid of breaking the incredible friendship that they have or how it will impact their families. Cam is struggling with writer’s block which Reese ends up being the cure for. Reese has found a job she loves but has been put in a challenging position that involves Cam. I loved the back and forth, slow build, hesitation that they both had even though their hearts kept pushing them to acknowledge their love. It felt real and honest, following our emotions has so many hurdles that can either be amazing or devastating. The entire family dynamic was fun and comforting as I cheered them on to their own happily ever after.

What a fabulous battle between Kenzie and Grayson. From the moment they met, Kenzie has hated Grayson and doesn’t hold back on letting everyone know it. This leads to a fabulous war with crazy and funny pranks that they pull on each other. For Grayson, he wishes he knew why she hates him so much because the attraction he feels is hard to resist. As the intensity of their war grows, Grayson finds himself needing a pretty big favor. His mom wants him to attend a family reunion which he dreads due to the betrayal he suffered from his brother. But if he has to go, taking someone with him would ease the pain, now, can he convince Kenzie to go with him? I love the truce proposal from Grayson and was shocked when Kenzie agreed. For Kenzie, she is attracted to Grayson but he did something to her that he doesn’t remember. Will she finally reveal all to him on their trip to San Antonio? This duo is electric and so much fun. Beautifully crafted best friends to lover’s romance. I don’t typically read M/M romance but I love this author’s stories and dove right in. Ryan and Grady were best friends all through school but Ryan has a secret, he loves his best friend. When Grady grabs him and kisses him at a party, he runs, knowing he can’t reveal to his best friend how he really feels about him. Sever years later, Grady’s music career is on the rise and Ryan is working to win the World series which brings them back together. Grady wants to know why Ryan has avoided him and won’t allow Ryan to run again. Ryan lives his life in secret, not revealing to the world he is gay but Grady works to get past all his walls. But what happens when Ryan is honest and tells Grady how he really feels about him? I lived this journey with Grady and Ryan as they navigated their careers and true feelings to figure out the life path, they both wanted to live.
