Beautifully emotional and raw as I got to experience Adrian finding his truth and embracing the life he truly wants to live. Nash and Adrian fell in love as teenagers but Adrian came from a family full of expectations and didn’t have the confidence or strength to breakaway and forge his own path. He broke Nash’s heart but his own as well. Nash has built a life by helping his brother at the resort he owns. What he never expects is for Adrian to be a guest with his fiancé. Adrian is completely shocked to see Nash but finds himself immediately feeling everything he walked away from. With the pressures to follow in his father’s political footsteps derail their chance at happiness again? Or will Adrian have the courage to take what he wants in life? This was a wonderful journey that felt so real and honest about the challenges anyone could face to realize you are enough and deserve to be happy even when those that should love and support you tell you otherwise. Dash and Cassidy had an incredible spark but then Dash blew it. He let his fears drive him which ended up hurting Cassidy. But now he finds himself needing to clean up his image so a fake girlfriend seems to be the best solution. Well, Cassidy is now working as the band’s personal assistant which makes her an easy choice and solution. For Cassidy, she is willing to help Nash and the band since this also impacts her brother Axel and is focused on keeping this relationship fake. Nash has finally figured out what he wants in life so he is going to pull out all the tricks to convince Cassidy he deserves a second chance to show he can love just one woman. I enjoyed experiencing this life shift with Nash. I also loved how Cassidy didn’t make this easy on him as she worked to protect her heart from his careless behavior. But when you have a spark, how can you really stop the flame? I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Tyler finds himself needing to improve his image while he is rehabbing his shoulder. For him, not being on the ice is a true challenge but when he gets setup to coach a group of kids for his volunteer assignment, well, this allows him to continue to enjoy the sport he loves. What he never expected was Kendra, the volunteer coordinator to be so captivating and fun. She is a breath of fresh air for Tyler and someone he wants to get to know. For Kendra, she isn’t sure what to expect from Tyler but when he starts helping with several of her projects, he shows the genuine man that he is, she has a hard time not falling for him. I enjoyed this couple and all the wonderful moments they found together. Along the way, we get to spend more time with the entire Maxwell family which I loved. I am loving this intense and passionate series. Will choices Sawyer made in his past keep this duo apart? Wonderfully unexpected. Rose is a survivor and through that process has built many quirks and habits to cope with her anxiety. Having been abandoned as a child, she struggles with letting people in or trusting that people will stay in her life.
