How to make bookmarks appear when the PDF file is opened

You spent time adding bookmarks to your PDF file to make navigating the pages easier for the reader however if the reader doesn't know the bookmarks are available, all of your work is for nothing. Be sure to go to File - Properties - Initial View - change Navigation to Bookmarks Panel and Page.
