What a fun couple. Gavin is the growly protector while Minnie is the beautiful songbird who feels unworthy. From their first meeting they have a natural spark and Minnie doesn’t hesitate to push Gavin’s buttons. When a fan of Minnie’s continues to taunt her, Gavin becomes her full-time security which has them spending several weeks alone at a safe house. As they get to know each other, Minnie opens up to Gavin about her fears which he works to help her conquer. But as Gavin falls for Minnie, he is carrying some baggage that makes him feel unworthy of her love. As they work to unravel the mystery of Minnie’s stalker fan, will they allow themselves to embrace love? I also enjoyed that we get to interact with Minnie and Gavin’s families along the way which shows the true community that they have supporting them. This let’s me revisit past characters and learn more about their lives and how they interconnect with everyone else. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I enjoyed Blake and Zoey’s story. Blake was a tough character to like from the other books in the series so I was excited to get to know him and find out that deep down he is a teddy bear. The thing that truly melts his heart is Zoey’s daughter, Hailee. He is a natural as he connects with her and makes her feel important, something Hailee is missing from her own father. The other secret we learn is that Blake has always been attracted to Zoey. When Zoey needs a ‘date’ for Hailee’s father’s wedding, well Blake steps in to be her fake boyfriend. Of course, they have to make sure everyone believes this is real at the wedding which requires them to spend more time together. As these two really get to know each other, will they be able to keep their feelings out of it? Or can they convince Nash that an office romance is ok? I loved how this couple connected and found a natural rhythm that included Hailee. I didn’t love some of their behaviors at the wedding, it seemed out of character for them but I know that it was needed to drive the drama in the story. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I had fun reading this book. From the moment Scarlett has to stand her ground and walk away from her cheating fiancé, I was hooked. She decides that she will still enjoy the reception and asks the singer, Killian, to sing to her. What she doesn’t expect is for him to rescue her and sweep her away from her wedding disaster. But then he leaves. A year later and she needs to attend her sister’s wedding to her ex-fiance, oh the family drama. What are the odds that Killian will be at the same wedding to perform? There is one problem, everyone thinks Scarlett and Killian are engaged. Let the fun begin. I had several surprises in this story that kept me guessing and never knowing what would happen next. Scarlett and Killian both carry scars from past hurts due to failed relationships so will they really take a chance on each other? Dive in to find out.
