Leo has all the swagger without the inflated ego. Sure, he has confidence and knows he is good looking but he doesn’t let that go to his head. When his teacher crush from high school ends up as his adjunct professor as a senior in college, well, Leo’s world is actually made. Realizing that Kora, aka Mrs. Robinson, actually needs the services of Wingmen Inc, he sets aside his feeling to do his job and help Kora through a rough situation with her soon to be ex-husband. Kora’s confidence has faded following an abusive relationship. Experiencing how the Wingmen help her find that confidence again was a great pleasure. But the real heart of this story is how Leo and Kora connect, finally acknowledging their true feelings. And as Kora has to face her demons, Leo reveals his own which enhances their relationship as they both have overcome troublesome relationships. Something that I loved is how Leo uses who he is along with his father’s connections to be the white knight for Kora. I was so surprised by this and love how this unfolded. This journey put a smile on my face and hope in my heart. I read this book using Kindle Unlimited.
