Fun. Carrie is rebuilding her life by moving to Lake Tahoe. When her new group of co-workers invites her to join them in Vegas for the weekend, she boldly jumps in but when she gets separated from them, well, she never knew how much fun Vegas could be. James rescues a beautiful woman from a grabby man at the blackjack table. What really surprises him is that he doesn’t want her to walk away. An unexpected scavenger hunt allows James and Carrie to truly explore Vegas and get to know each other. But when Carrie wakes up alone with a ring on her finger, shock doesn’t even begin to cover how she feels. She doesn’t know James’ name and now they are married. Then the biggest surprise of all happens, her new boss is also her husband. I love James’ reaction to Carrie walking into his office because he knows he doesn’t want to lose this woman again. Will James convince Carrie that they should stay together? Will Carrie be able to give her heart again? I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Dr. Rebecca Sharp, while using a pen name, is actually a doctor living in Pennsylvania with her husband - the love of her life. She enjoys working in her practice with her father as well as letting her creativity run free as an author. Growing up she's always loved a good love story and finally decided to give writing one of her own a go. After graduating with her doctoral degree, she now enjoys spending that thing called free time traveling with her husband, cooking, and knitting.
