Fabulous friends to lovers’ romance. Kelsey runs from commitment, even having friends is something she avoided for years. Her mother didn’t set a great example and left her believing that you can’t depend on anyone but yourself. A bad online date ends up gaining her a friend in Theo. Theo gets her in a way no one else ever has and allows Kelsey to be herself. Theo is very focused on work which makes relationships impossible. The one bright spot is his friendship with Kelsey. When his ex invites him to her wedding, he enlists Kelsey’s help to be his date. Kelsey knows that they have to make this look believable but as they start pretending, will they find something real? Will these two realize that love is possible together? Or will they fears push them apart? I had a great time taking this journey with Kelsey and Theo. These two are a fun and sexy couple and Theo does an amazing job getting Kelsey to open up and embrace her fears. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
