What a fabulously tangled and intriguing story. Rae is working to rebuild her career after taking a stand against one of the top night club owners for not protecting customers from assault. She ends up in Ibiza to work at a club that has been empty with the goal to demonstrate she can bring in the customers. What she doesn’t expect is for Harrison, the night club owner in question, to be the owner and caught in a contract she can’t break. Harrison is all business, focused on building his empire so when his leading night club drops in performance due to Rae’s allegations, well, he wants retribution. Getting her to DJ at his new club to earn the money he lost. He is used to people only seeing the things they can gain from the money he has but Rae Is not your normal woman. She stands up to him and goes for what she wants. These two strong willed individuals are electric together. As Harrison is pursuing more properties, Rae becomes a distraction that just might be the needed change to his life. Rae is shocked by how much she likes Harrison when she is able to get beyond his businessman persona. But can these two adversaries find a road to love? Oh, boy, I am loving this couple and need book 2. There is hope but I know this isn’t going to be an easy journey for either of them.
