New Release & Review: The Fine Print by Lauren Asher

The Fine Print by Lauren Asher is now live!

Rowan
I'm in the business of creating fairy tales.
Theme parks. Production companies. Five-star hotels.
Everything could be all mine if I renovated Dreamland.
My initial idea of hiring Zahra was good in theory, but then I kissed her.
Things spiraled out of control once I texted her using an alias.
By the time I realized where I went wrong, it was too late.
People like me don't get happy endings.
Not when we're destined to ruin them.

Zahra
After submitting a drunk proposal criticizing Dreamland's most expensive ride, I should have been fired.
Instead, Rowan Kane offered me a dream job.
The catch? I had to work for the most difficult boss I'd ever met.
Rowan was rude and completely off-limits, but my heart didn't care.
At least not until I discovered his secret.
It was time to teach the billionaire that money couldn't fix everything.
Especially not us.

My Review:
The Fine Print (Dreamland Billionaires, #1)The Fine Print by Lauren Asher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This romance fed my inner passion for amusement parks. What a great idea to set the romance within the Dreamland world. Rowan frustrated me because he lost his imagination and creative drive but as the story unfolded, I understood better why. When his grandfather dies and leaves the job of directing Dreamland to him, he believes he can approach this with the same cold and callous drive he’s used for years to prove himself to his father. He never expected to meet Zahra, a true light force in her approach to living. She loves the fairy tales and dreams that Dreamland provides and wants to be part of the team to keep those dreams alive. Rowan sees her as a way to build the plan needed to secure his inheritance. Along the way, Zahra becomes the force that helps Rowan find his creative passion again. Zahra’s sister Ani is another beautiful force that causes Rowan to reevaluate the direction of his life. But when it comes down to his brother’s or his renewed passions, which side will he let win? Zahra has her own journey as she is working to find trust again after a boyfriend crushed her heart. I love her determination and optimism that is her driving force. This road is never easy and I felt all the ups and downs with her. Her connection to Rowan is strong but he doesn’t make it easy to love him and works to drive her away. Will she find forgiveness when he asks? Truly, so much to love about this journey and I’m glad I was given an opportunity to review. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
