Jo loves her life on the family bee farm. For her and her sisters, they believe that they are cursed so having a relationship is something she believes isn’t an option for herself. When the farm is threatened by big oil, she will pull out all the stops to prevent them from getting her land. She will also fight to help her town and hope that other farms won’t sign. Meeting Grant, the man sent to close the deal, she is shocked by the sparks she feels. But she has a mission, to get him to leave so she decides to introduce him to farm life. Grant embraces Jo’s challenge and suddenly finds himself enjoying life where before he just went from work assignment to work assignment. He doesn’t have a relationship with his father except through work. When his father comes to town to check up on him, Grant feels the pressure to close the deal but is shocked when his dad starts to work on Jo’s mother, Dottie. Whew, his father is a piece of work and definitely a snake. I love how Jo pushed Grant out of his comfort zone which allowed him to find a new direction for his life. And Grant helped Jo realize that love is possible.

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
