Charlotte and Perry find themselves caught up in their family’s power grab and are now engaged to be married. Neither one is happy with the situation since they’ve never met. Charlotte has been controlled by her father for years and is seen as a disappointment. Perry is known for his partying ways but is now working for the family business and is trying to establish that he matters to the family. For Charlotte, maybe this is the best opportunity to escape the iron fist of her father. This is a crazy twisted situation but I love how this duo works to find their own footing in this mess. They may even realize they have more in common than they originally thought. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
