My Review:
FightFight by Nicole Dykes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What an amazing story that delivers all the heartache and struggle that life can throw at you while showing you that hope and love are possible. Shaw and Carter met in grade school and became immediate best friends. They life a hard live where not all the bills are paid every month so they learn early that you can’t always have everything you want. Dane made their duo a trio of best friends. They are each other’s life lines when life gets them down or they need help. Though, none of them like to ask for help. They have all learned to make do and find a way to survive. The love that I felt between Shaw and Carter is there from the beginning but Carter doesn’t feel he is worthy of love or is good enough for Shaw. This frustrated me but also made perfect sense as I got to know these amazing group of friends. This journey tore at my heart then put it back together. Loved it. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
