I love that Eve is focused on building her dream, her own yoga studio. When Miles shows up in Carmel Cove, she finds herself drawn to this intense man that is hiding so many secrets. Miles is running from his pain. He thought he had found his forever only to realize the person he loved, didnβt love him back and even committed the worse betrayal to him. Now, he second guesses himself and is working to build a solitary life. The one person that keeps derailing his plans is Eve. There is a spark in her that he canβt deny and is constantly drawn to but he fights every step of the way. Eve knows that fighting for Miles is the right decision. I love how these two clash as they work through their issues. I was right there with them through this journey. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
