New Release & Review: Love Me Forever by Layla Hagen

Release Date: December 2

A surprise baby romance from USA Today bestselling author Layla Hagen

Have dinner with me.”

Four words. That was all Travis Maxwell needed to charm me, even though I’d just met him. In my defense, we were kind of stuck together, and he was the hottest man I’d laid eyes on. We spent a glorious week together, knowing we'd go our separate ways in the end.

Then two blue lines turn my life upside down. I'm pregnant.
Travis and I agree to be friends—nothing more—and to focus on raising our child.
Easier said than done.
Travis transforms from a master flirt to a caveman, intent on protecting me and our unborn baby. He spoils me and tends to all my cravings, including supplying my favorite cupcakes on demand and watching Netflix with me.
As we bicker about which season of Bridgerton is better, he suddenly tells me that he wants me.
That he needs me.
And I need him too.
But I want him to want me for me, not just because of the baby. Travis doesn’t want to settle down. He told me as much when we met. I fear he's mixing up his feelings, and I don't think that's the right recipe for forever…

My Review:
Love Me Forever (The Maxwell Brothers #5)Love Me Forever by Layla Hagen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Travis and Bonnie meet while Travis is traveling for his new business. But Bonnie isn’t impressed with Travis’s attempts to flatter her. Travis however won’t give up and eventually, these two find a chemistry that neither expected even if it’s only for a week. Bonnie gets a bigger shock after Travis leaves when she ends up pregnant. As she returns to Chicago, she works to contact Travis who had said he would call her after he left but never did. Once again, Travis needs to make amends as they both work to find a plan to co-parent. I loved that Bonnie wasn’t a push over which had Travis using all his talents to show her that love is possible for them. Bonnie is surprised by how the Maxwell family embraces her and welcomes her to the family based on the challenges she faced from her own parents. She has to confront her fears of everyone that she loves leaving her to truly allow herself to be happy and accept that a relationship is possible with Travis. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
