Thea is inspiring that everyone deserves their happily ever after even though she has decided it won’t happen for herself. Her ability to leave her hometown and pursue her passion after her family let’s her down is exciting. Now a successful wedding planner in Manhattan, sought out by celebrities to plan their nuptials. Her first encounter Oliver, most eligible billionaire, is funny and unexpected. When this sexy man shows up in her office needing her services to plan his daughter’s wedding, well, that is the last thing Thea expects. With a short timeline, Thea finds herself spending more and more time with Oliver to finalize plans as Jillian, his daughter, keeps cancelling her appointments. Oliver is a workaholic, knows what he wants and goes after it. His reaction to Thea surprises even him and he finds himself wanting to be around her even if it involves dancing and tasting cake. But Thea still believes she isn’t capable of happily ever after so what will she do as her feeling grow for Oliver? How will Oliver react when he learns Thea truth about her past relationships? There are so many fun and refreshing moments between Thea and Oliver that creates a natural build to their connection. I needed them to realize that love is possible between them. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
