Charlie and Connor took me on an emotional and sexy journey. Charlie’s passion is her art but her mother wants her to have a stable career so she finds herself doing tech work at a candy company as she works to finance her art exhibition. Connor is home to find a way to save the family candy business. A chance encounter in front of a wall of candy is how these two meet. But Connor seeing Charlie’s sketches is what provides the catalyst for them to spend time together as they work to rebrand the company’s marketing strategy. Each of them is struggling with family issues as they are trying to find their real place in life. I love how this journey to revive the company is also how they each find their true path. I had fun with this couple as they navigated working together while falling in love. They are surrounded with a great group of friends too. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
