My Review:
Vivienne deserves to find love. Her parents are unbelievably strict and demanding so when she finally breaks the mold in high school, she ends up pregnant, not something her parents wanted. She stood her ground and is now the mom to an amazing 3-year-old, Sebastian. This brought the Sterlings into her life since Colt is the father. Asserting her independence, she finally moves out to live closer to campus for her senior year in college. Asher always looked up to Colt and Linc but he has struggled with who he really is. Will he be the rule follower that Colt was? Or will he be the rule breaker like Linc? What he does most is be there for his family when they are falling apart. He moves in with Viv and Baz so he can be closer to his nephew and help out. Two single adults, living under the same roof, will they be able to keep it platonic? Will Viv loosen up and live now that she is away from her parents? There is so much intense drama and heartache in this story. I love that Viv is finding herself after all the hurdles. She is an amazing mom and her decision to embrace her pregnancy is awesome. Asher breaks my heart; he is so lost and doesn’t know how to let himself just be Asher. I was killed at the end because this journey isn’t over and I so desperately need to know what happens next. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
