Tibbs has a reputation for his manwhore ways but after his best friend finds love, it seems that maybe he isn’t truly enjoying his usual habits. One night at the club, a woman catches his eye and he is blown away. His shock doesn’t end when he finds out the woman is Ricci, a cop he has known for years but never seen as a sexy woman. Ricci is surprised when Tibbs flirts with her so she decides to have some fun with him. This begins a new chapter in their relationship. Tibbs wants to show Ricci that he can be a great boyfriend and wants to settle down. Ricci has to allow herself to let her guard down and let Tibbs in to truly give a relationship a chance. I love Ricci’s swagger and confidence. She doesn’t back down from who she is which Tibbs loves and embraces, allowing her to truly be herself with him. Of course, love is never an easy road and Tibbs is thrown a huge curve ball that may derail everything that are building. I had fun getting to know this couple and they gave me all the emotions along the way as they both fought to find love. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
