Fabulous. Diego irritated me in earlier books but there were glimpses that more was going on in his life than we knew. He had moments where he would show that he did know how to be a great guy. We finally get to peel back the layers and really understand what makes Diego tick with all the crazy that happens at home and how it shaped him. Joslyn is so strong and brave. Pregnant as a teenager is scary but she faces this new challenge head on and works to be an amazing mom while building a great life for herself and her daughter. I loved that even though she loved Diego, she knew she had to find her own path before she could let him back in. The result is that Diego has to face his own issues and decide who he wants to be. Such a wonderful journey of growth and awareness for them both. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
