New Release & Review: The Last Eligible Billionaire by Pippa Grant

The Last Eligible Billionaire by Pippa Grant is now live!

Emotionally unavailable doesn’t even begin to describe my new fake boyfriend. He’s cold. He’s distant. He has more defenses than a nuclear missile silo. And he’s the ultimate catch of the century. At least, according to his bank statement.

My job’s simple: Keep Hayes Rutherford’s matchmaking relatives and all interested ladies away from the cranky, grumpy, walled-off heir to my favorite movie empire, and in return, he won’t ruin my life over a teensy, tiny little misunderstanding.

But the more I sneak past Hayes’s walls and fences, the more I realize that while we might be from different worlds, we have more in common than either of us expected. The man under all the glitz, glamour, and dollar signs could be the real love of my life.

But you know what they say about fake dating a billionaire—it’s all fun and games until the scandals start.

The Last Eligible Billionaire is a swoony, laugh-out-loud romance featuring a botched wax job, a woman in over her head, a man in over his heart, and the sweetest misguided dog to ever play matchmaker…or at least make sure these two anti-love birds never have clothes when they get out of the shower.

My Review

The Last Eligible BillionaireThe Last Eligible Billionaire by Pippa Grant
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Grumpy Hayes, the one Rutherford that doesn’t like people or attention, is seeking solitude when he escapes his family for his home in Maine. What he doesn’t expect to find is Begonia inhabiting his home. From their first crazy and funny first meeting, I knew this was going to be a fabulous journey. Begonia has made a bold move when she divorced her husband and is working on finding her true self. Getting this great deal on a fabulous home is just what she needs to refresh and recharge but having the owner show up and accuse her of trespassing wasn’t on her schedule. Neither was his proposition to be his fake girlfriend which he makes very hard to refuse. Hayes is counting on Begonia’s people skills to run interference with his family. As he spends more time with her, he finds himself needing more of her, her positive attitude, her love for life, just her. But he locked away his heart a long time ago, does Begonia have any hope of releasing it from the prison he built? Begonia needs someone to love and appreciate her for who she is without wanting to change her. It was so wonderful to experience Hayes’ true personality as he lets himself embrace the joy from Begonia and his need to make her smile. I laughed out loud while my heart also broke for each of them as they revealed their vulnerabilities. Oh, I almost forgot to mention Marshmallow, Begonia’s dog, probably the best match maker out of everyone that tried to setup Hayes. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
