My heart is happy after reading this book. When Crew sees Wren for the first time at school, well, he is immediately frustrated by her. This leads to several years of avoidance by both of them until they are paired up senior year for a project. The beauty in their romance is the honest and natural way they ended up learning about each other and realized, they aren’t as different as they originally believed. For Wren, she struggles with living up to the expectations that her father has set though most of the time she takes pride in his standards. But as she nears her 18th birthday, she wants to be seen and trusted to make her own choices. Getting to know Crew and being honest with herself about who she is and what she wants for her future really allow her to find her footing. Crew struggles with love and trusting that anyone will love him for himself and not his bank account. Getting to know Wren forces him to face these fears when he finds himself falling for her. The beauty of a million kisses really happens in all the ways he shows Wren that she matters and is loved. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
